Ilia Topuria, 27, is the man of the moment. The Spanish-Georgian fighter will take on Alexander Volkanovski on February 17 for the featherweight title in Anaheim, California.

Topuria made his UFC debut in October 2020 with a points win decision over Youssef Zalal, and his rise in the company has been lightning fast, moving to 14-0 as he now fights for the belt. In the process, Topuria has earned “between one million and one and a half million euros”.

Topuria revealed his earnings in a Spanish TV show

El Matador was asked about his earnings in the Spanish TV show La Resistencia a year ago. Topuria said, “between 60,000 and 100,000 euros monthly, beating the s**t out of people”. He also explained on the Webpositer Agency podcast that he had earned “between one million and one and a half million euros” since he signed for the UFC. “Money is super important, it’s what motivates me because I have to feed my kid. My legacy, fame, or my belts won’t feed him”, he said.
