Chelsea to cruise to the title against Palace- 1/3

Chelsea can lift the Premier League trophy on Saturday with a win and this will serve as electric motivation for Mourinho’s men as they look to continue their dominant form. Following a good run of recent results, Palace have lost their last two games, and look no match for a Chelsea side that have won 81% of their home fixtures. Watch Mourinho crack open the champagne in style with a resounding home victory.

Southampton to turn on the style against Sunderland – EVENS

Sunderland will not want to give up their Premier League status without a fight in front of their own fans, but it is at home where they have struggled most this season. Statistically they are the second weakest home team, picking up a meagre 16 points from 17 games at the Stadium of Light. Contrastingly, Southampton have been excellent away from St Mary’s this season and still have one eye on Europa League qualification. The Saints trashed Sunderland 8-0 in the reverse fixture, and will fully expect to gain another three points from the sorry Black Cats this time around.

Derby to dispel any play-off doubts with victory against Reading – 4/11

After looking like play-off certainties for the whole season, Derby fans will be wary of Brentford breathing down their necks for sixth place. Fortunately it has been in front of their own fans where Derby have performed best this season, winning over 55% of their games at Pride Park. Reading make the trip suffering from a confidence crisis losing six games on the bounce, and look a disinterested team following their FA Cup heartbreak. With little to play for, they pose almost no threat of derailing Derby’s promotion push.

Preston to gain promotion with win against relegation bound Colchester – 4/7

It’s squeaky bum time for Preston North End and Colchester United. A win for either would seal promotion and avoid relegation respectively, meaning tensions are likely to be high in this fixture. 22nd placed Colchester have made winning anything other than a habit in recent weeks, with just one from their last six fixtures. The home team have instead made a habit of getting thrashed by the league’s top teams, with 6-0 defeats to Chesterfield and MK Dons, and a 4-2 loss at Preston in the reverse fixture. Preston have scored 79 goals and Colchester have conceded 77 this season, which makes another thrashing look on the cards.

Bury to deliver final Tranmere battering – 8/15

The stats don’t read well for Conference-bound Tranmere. Defeat at Plymouth marked their sixth loss in a row and dropped them to 24th position in the league. Fielding a toothless attack and a defence that has managed to keep a clean sheet in just 15% of their games, things don’t look promising as they get set to host promotion-chasing Bury. Bury’s promotion push has been built on the back of seven consecutive away victories, and it would take a brave man to bet against an eighth.
